Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Forum 2017

Improving & Driving Excellence Across Sectors (IDEAS), in partnership with the Centre for Quality Improvement and Patient Safety (C-QuIPS) and with support from Health Quality Ontario (HQO) are hosting the second annual Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Forum (QIPSF) on Monday October 23, 2017.

This forum will bring together C-QuIPS members, IDEAS alumni, and members of the broader community leading or actively engaged in quality improvement and patient safety practice and academic work.

This year, we are thrilled to have Dr. Bryan Sexton, PhD Director, Duke Patient Safety Center and Associate Professor, Duke University Health System as our morning keynote speaker. He will be speaking about his experience with work on resilience in healthcare.

Other highlights of the day will include:

  • Hot Topics in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety
  • Interactive breakout sessions providing a forum to enhance skills and knowledge of various quality improvement and patient safety topics
  • Poster displays of local project work conducted by C-QuIPS and IDEAS alumni
  • Opportunities to network with peers engaged in quality improvement efforts
